Course Description
The Grade 9 ICSE program offers a rigorous and expansive academic foundation across Mathematics and Science, fully aligned with the ICSE curriculum. In Mathematics, students explore key domains including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and coordinate geometry, building computational fluency and logical reasoning. Science instruction is distributed across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with an emphasis on experimental learning, scientific reasoning, and real-world application. The course integrates theoretical depth with hands-on problem-solving to prepare learners for the board-level challenges of Grade 10.
Learning Objective
This course is designed to develop a deep conceptual understanding of scientific and mathematical principles while enhancing precision, critical thinking, and data analysis skills. Students will gain the ability to apply learned concepts to solve numerical problems, construct logical arguments, and conduct experiments. The program also nurtures scientific curiosity and encourages structured inquiry through practical assignments and assessments embedded throughout the curriculum.
What Will I Learn?
Students will explore a wide range of foundational and advanced topics through a concept-driven, application-based approach. They will develop confidence in working with numbers, equations, graphs, and geometrical constructions while building fluency in interpreting and solving real-world problems. Scientific learning will include analyzing motion and force, understanding the principles behind light and sound, exploring atomic structures, and investigating living systems and ecological interactions. Through interactive modules, hands-on experiments, and logical reasoning exercises, learners will engage deeply with topics like pressure, reflection, respiration, chemical reactions, and health and hygiene—sharpening their analytical thinking and preparing them for the academic rigor of high school.
