Course Description
The Grade 8 CBSE program provides a structured introduction to intermediate-level Science topics, building on the foundations set in earlier grades. The curriculum covers core concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology—ranging from forces and sound to chemical effects of electricity and cell biology. Lessons are designed to connect theory with real-life experiences through demonstrations, activities, and structured problem-solving. Fully aligned with NCERT guidelines, this course equips students with the knowledge and confidence needed to transition into high school-level Science.
Learning Objective
This course aims to strengthen conceptual clarity, observational skills, and analytical thinking. Students will learn to describe natural phenomena, explain basic chemical interactions, and understand biological processes in a structured, logical manner. Through experiments, diagrams, and assignments, they will practice scientific communication and board-style answer writing. The program also promotes curiosity, responsible environmental behavior, and a foundational understanding of how Science applies to everyday life.
What Will I Learn?
Students will explore a variety of themes such as pressure and friction, the behavior of light and sound, natural and synthetic materials, animal reproduction, plant and cell biology, and environmental conservation. With hands-on experiments, practical applications, and structured assessments, students will develop a strong base in scientific principles while preparing for the increased academic rigor of Grades 9 and 10.
